Gentle Introduction to Yoga
Join Ronit for an 8 week yoga workshop: In addition to Asana (practice of yoga postures), our primary focus will be exploring the first limb of Ashtanga Yoga, namely the five Yamas, translated into English as external restraints.

Yoga For Smokers Who Don't Want To Be
This 6 session series will use yoga philosophy to address habit change. You will learn various yoga postures, breath work and meditative practices specifically designed for smokers. This class provides a supportive environment in which you will examine your relationship to smoking and your desire for change. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
Simone Moir is a certified Yoga Teacher and Gestalt Therapist with a special interest in addiction and stress reduction.

Why Meditate: A Beginner's Guide
This 6 session series (1.5 hours each) will introduce participants to the basics of mindfulness based practice and a variety of meditation techniques. Bringing mindfulness and meditation into every day life assists us to be in the present moment and deal creatively with difficult thoughts, feelings and situations whenever they arise.

The Awakened Clown: Working with what Won't go Away
This Two day workshop brings together Mindfulness, Clown and Cognitive Strategies for pitching us headlong into the present moment. Participants will use meditative, performance, humourous and cognitive tools for creating their own path and and toolkit for working with difficulties when they arise. This is a highly creative and interactive workshop.

Food for Thought
Cooking fantastic foods from scratch remind us that eating can be more than just sustenance, nourishing the heart as well as the stomach. This workshop will involve cooking and working with food, engaging all the senses in a mindful way. Food can be the palate for creative expression. No cooking experience needed.
